Amy’s No Bake Cookies

These quick, easy no-bake cookies satisfy the craving for a sweet treat!

Quantity Measure Ingredient
2 c. sugar
1/3 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
½ c. milk
½ c. butter
½ c. creamy peanut butter
3 ½ c. quick oats


1. Cover 2 baking sheets with waxed paper.  Place a piece of masking tape on the edge of each piece of waxed paper.  Label the tape with the period and your kitchen number.
2. In a large saucepan combine sugar, cocoa, milk and butter.
3. Stir continuously on medium heat until mixture comes to a rolling boil.  Continue boiling for 1 minute.
4. Remove from heat and add peanut butter and oats.  Stir until well mixed.
5. Using a portioner, quickly drop the chocolate mixture in spoonfuls onto the waxed paper.
6. Set in fridge for about 10 minutes to set.
7. Serve and enjoy
