Marinara Sauce

Marinara Sauce

Mamma Mia! That’s some spicy spaghetti sauce! Yum.



¼ cup olive oil

1 cup chopped onions

2 garlic cloves, minced

2 cans stewed tomatoes(14.5 ounce)

6 ounce can tomato paste

1 teaspoon oregano

1 Tablespoon basil

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon pepper

½ cup vegetable broth/stock


  1. In large sauce pan heat oil and add onions and garlic cook unil tender.
  2. Add stewed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, pepper and vegetable broth/stock.
  3. Cook for 30 minutes on low.
  4. With a hand blender puree sauce well.
