Fried Rice


Quantity Measure Ingredient
½ cup sliced green onion
¼ cup minced parsley
1 – 10 oz. package frozen green peas, thawed
4 cups cold cooked rice
2 tsp. grated lemon peel
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 dash liquid hot pepper sauce





1. Place large frying pan over medium-high heat. When pan is hot add butter.
2. When butter is melted, add onion and parsley. Stir-fry until onion is limp (about 1 minute).
3. Turn heat to high. Add peas, rice, lemon peel, soy sauce and hot pepper sauce. Stir-fry until heated through, adding more butter if needed. Makes 4 servings.
